Walking Away

In this world, everyone walks alone. Parents, friends, they are torches along the path that lights up the tunnel, warm us up, n' provide guidance. But in the end, everyone walks alone.

This summer

This summer has been a lil' bit too fun, now I'm sad to leave Connecticut. Let me just jot down a summary of errrthang that's happened that's ooo so memorable. Nowadays I really only post just so I can keep track of the years for when I get really old.

1. New Haven bball weekends - draft, drunkness off Er Guo Tou, n' loosing bad in the 3 vs. 3 tournament. Maybe it was my fault but we all had fun regardless.

2. Soccer days that makes me feel happy even on a Monday.....spinning gold....

3. Trips with KR n' company - Rhode Island n' Waterskiing/tubing. Real fun, good weather, way to be EXTREME!!!!

4. NYC weekends - happened twice, I'm quite accquainted with the Metro North now. Let's just say that the second time was a clubbin' experience to remember, as much as I had alot of other clubbin experiences. It's definitely top ranked in my books ha!

5. CT parties - Di's party, Intern party, Blake's 21st, HL gathering, etc. etc. Let's just say that dancing on tables, grinding, or skinny dippin' usually ended the night ha!

6. Picnic - reunion with Mei. What an afternoon of fun, get my mind off the sadness after most of the interns had left

7. Wii days, endless wii gatherings at my spot, including my own bday party haha

Philadelphia, I'm ready for you!

So after months of studying and stressing, I passed my exam!!!!!! Yay. Results were early this time too, totally unexpected. With shaken hands I checked the candidate number against the passing numbers, and I found mine phewwww. Wassup baby? dis chigga be real happy right now.

Summer has been off the hook...went to RI, 3 on 3 bball tournament weekends, bi-weekly soccer scrimmages, terrific house parties, getting trashed alot but hey gotta do it when you are young right? going to NYC for some clubbin yo this weekend. More details later.

East coast I see ya shakin' right!

Summer 2007 baby! Eastsiiiiiiiiide

Wow…stressful day…but fulfilling as well :) So far today I have done several pretty important things at work though…I created and finished my very FIRST model made from scratch, a combination of 10 different macros and all. Think it took me a total of 7 hours…I thought I would totally dread this project, since programming was the worst thing I've ever experience in my life (like literally, how close it came to ruin my life and all). However, this is the most fun I've had on the job in a very long time! I don't think I'm that bad of a programmer I wouldn't say, though it is visual basic and not C++ or Java.

Aside from work, the past few months has been some what of a blur..

March - March madness runs to New Haven, bball bball and bball. Studying was a little set back.

April - gloomy April, the worst month I've had since probably October of 2005, before that probably sometime in 2003-2004 school year? Not sure. It was a really upsetting month, even a strong wangsta like me had a few down moments. Studying was REALLY REALLY fucking getting to me, and various other issues did not help whatsoever either. Let's just call it gloomy April and leave it at that. I did have a little bit of fun though…the weather got nicer, Lawrence came to visit, walk for America, etc.

May - Resolution month…found my rhythm. I refuse to be down, I refuse to shed another tear…I tried the best I can and was really focused through the time of studying up to the exam. The sun finally came out, and momentum started rollin' in mah favor. Haha.

Second part of May - non-stop fun yo. Lots of catching up at work to do, but the same time, soccer started back, lots of free time on the weekends to do whatever. Work was kind of a drag at first…

5/19 weekend - Chen came down to visit! Mike and I took him out to Pourhouse that night, and we saw some AEDPers there too, we all got trashed. I lost my camera…boo :( but I got to see Chen really drunk and Mike tipsy, that was good enough haha. Then that weekend we helped Tina move out of her apartment on Saturday, came to my crib and chilled…yay! Ni Ni and Irvin both came over. Later Kelvin and Isabel joined up for Shrek 3…which Mike slept through, damn boi…dat be an expensive nap. Then I watched movies/tv series the entire day on Sunday…ha!

5/25 weekend - need I say more? NC baby! Hung out with the folks on Friday, they treated me out and the next day I had mommy's cookings :)

Then I went to chill with Vincci and Shanie for the rest of the day, met up with Ken, ahd some real southern sweet tea :) Pregamed it up at Shanie's and head out to East End…crazy night, for me that is, had just the right amount to drink this time!!!! Was wild but no hang over or puking or falling over or whatever. I think I can control my drunkness more and more as I age ha! Fanny and her friend Leon was there too, a lot of other people dropped in as well including Betsy and her boy, Ken and his boys haha. It was a really well balanced going out type of night - some drinking games, some dancing, some foosball, drinking, then food. Was A LOT of fun. I miss my old friends and my good ole' town :(

Then Sunday we went to watch Pirates with Gigi at the mall and then hung out for a bit too. Captain Jack Sparrow…savvvvyyyy??? Too bad Cma wasn't around to watch with us, or we would've so dressed up as pirates or something ha!

Monday I got to meet up with Changho at his barbeque…Vincci, Ken, Gigi, and Shanie all went. We played batmitten in the burning sun, there was awesome food (thanks Changho bear!) Also, we played some games on the wii…I kicked ass in boxing har har!

Man what a huge reunion weekend it was. I got to catch up a lot with my parents too so it was great! I miss NC already :(

6/1 weekend - went ballin' Friday night in New Haven, was really hot man. Then I went to see Knocked up with Kinky, it was a really funny movie. The next day I hung out with Tina and Mike some, and then went to Nick's party where like my entire program showed up. Strategically found the best partner for beer pong, and of course won…I'm sorry man, if I already be tipsy, I gotta find myself a man to do the shots for me haha. Sunday I watched tv series the whole entire day, finished the series, and then read about it online some.

6/8 weekend - another fulfilling weekend. Played ball, ate good food, watched movie for Friday night. Then Saturday we went to eat 2 buffets, well, just me and Kelvin actually. Went to a shanghainese buffet with Irvin, Nini, and Janan (newly wed) for lunch, was really good. Was raining hard as hell too. Then we met up with Shawn and went into NYC to meet up with Kinky and his possee haha. Had another round of sushi/seafood buffet…felt sorta like puking afterwards…don’t' know how I handled it all. Made a fool of myself as usual, and then we went to a comedy club. Man I love the big city life…even Charles was laughing his ass off in the comedy show. Once I live in the city, I'll exercise during weeknites and go to comedy clubs/shows/clubbin on the weekend nites, life would be awesome!

Went back, slept in candy's bed (ha!) and went to the movies next day with Kinky, Ocean's 13 ain't all that though, just entertaining that's about it.

What am I doing this upcoming weekend? Well stay tuned..but a sneak peek…shall we say…smallest state of the US? ;)

No news on the Philly move yet, nor the position for that matters :( But I have faith that it'll happen one of these days :)
